This is a resource that both the beginner and the advanced researcher can use again and again to explore history and their own family’s history. It includes coverage of the U.S. and the U.K., plus record collections from Canada and other areas. It contains more than 4,000 databases (ex.: American Genealogical Biographical Index, Daughters of the American Revolution Lineage, The Great Migration Begins: Immigrants to New England, 1620-1630, Social Security Death Index, WWI Draft Registration Cards, Federal Slave Narratives) and 1.5 billion names with full text with images, and citations -- from federal census (1790 to 1930), vital, church, court, and immigration records, historical maps, and a strong Civil War collection. The overall dates of coverage are 1300 to the present. Available within the library only due to licensing issues.
